I recently acquired a PPSH-41 stock and I am not able to find any info regarding the markings. See photos. There is a triangle with what appears to be VR/28 and some horizontal numbers just behind where the sling attachment is on the stock. There is also a letter "B" on the front of the grip. The 3rd and 4th photos have close up views.
